6 Months!

Wow...I've been REALLY bad at blogging lately so I'm catching up on Carson. He's 8 months old now, but I figured better late than never. He is such a happy baby and we love watching him grow. At his 6 month appointment, these were his stats:

Height: 25 1/2 inches..............25th%

Weight: 15lbs 3oz.....................20th%

Head Circ: 18 1/4 inches...........Off the Charts!

Now, back when we first heard that his head was off the charts, we were really worried because the doctor ordered an MRI to make sure there weren't any problems inside his head. The results came back and everything was fine, but after a check-up a month later, his head had grown another half an inch! The doctor then decided to send us to a pediatric neurosurgeon down at Loma Linda just to be safe. We were nervous, but the neurosurgeon informed us that everything was fine, since Carson is hitting all developmental milestones for his age and has no symptoms of any problems. We were so relieved that our baby just has a big head! He'll grow into it soon. Here are some more pictures taken when he was 6 months...

Halloween Fun!

Halloween was SO much fun this year! Evan was Buzz Lightyear and he absolutely LOVED playing the part. He ran around hitting his laser button and would pretend-shoot everyone. He would also run around and say "To infinity...and BEYOND!" Carson was an alien from Toy Story and they both looked so cute!

I used black eyeliner to give Evan some awesome Buzz eyebrows and Buzz's swirly chin dimple...

Camping!

We went camping with our friends the Arellanos for one night. It was so much fun! We went to a campsite in Hesperia about a half hour away is all. We shared one tent, had tin-foil dinners, roasted marshmallows, and just hung out! Evan had a blast getting dirty. His shirt got soaking wet from a bucket of water and he ran away from me when I took it off to change it. Our little mountain-man...

Pumpkin Patch...Part 2!

Since Evan loved the first pumpkin patch so much, we took him to the one here in Apple Valley. It was our first time going to this one since we've lived here and it was pretty cool! We took a little tour around the patch on this cute little train ride. Evan was thrilled!

Pumpkin Patch...Part 1!

We took the boys to the Pumpkin patch in Victorville! It was freezing that night so we had to bundle up. We loved watching Evan get so excited...he talked about it the whole day before we went. I think he was more excited to see the animals than the pumpkins. We went with our friends the Arellanos. Here are the mommies (Meagan and I) and the kiddos...

Evan's 2nd Birthday!

Evan turned 2 on September 22nd! We can't believe he is already 2 years old. He is such a fun little kid and talks up a storm. He has a mind of his own and is like a little adult. He LOVES Toy Story so we decided to have a Toy Story themed party...

My friend Amy and I stayed up until 3 in the morning the night before making these DELICIOUS cake pops from www.Bakerella.com. They are crumbled up chocolate cake mixed with chocolate frosting formed into balls, then dipped in chocolate with sprinkles. They were SOOOOO good!
