9 Months!

I can't believe that our baby is 9 months! At his 9 month doctor appointment, here were his stats:

Weight: 20lbs 4oz.................50th%

Height: 27 1/4 inches..........20th%

Head Circ: 19 1/4 inches...................Off the Charts!

At 9 months Carson:

  • is loving big people food now...this morning he was grubbing on a pancake!
  • likes to eat carrots, peas, and lima beans with his fingers...hates baby food veggies!
  • is army crawling faster and faster every day. I leave the room and come back to find him in a different room!
  • wears some 12-18 month clothes already! He's going to be the BIG little brother for sure!
  • says da-da, ba-ba, and I've even heard him say a couple ma-ma's (when he's mad of course)
  • is seriously the happiest baby I know! :)

To compare their looks, below is a picture of Evan at 9 months...Carson looks like a ghost compared to him! Haha! Evan was 9 months in July and Carson is 9 months in January...unfair tanning advantage!

Here are a few more pictures of smiley Carson...

Standing up(the couch was helping, of course) and waving like a big boy...

He still LOVES his jumper!

Sledding and Snowboarding!

Last week we went to stay at Sean's parents house near Cedar City, UT and we were treated like royalty! We were fed wonderful dinners every night and Nana and Papa babysat the kiddos while we went snowboarding two days at Brian Head Resort! I hadn't been in 2 years because last year I was pregnant with Carson. The weather and snow were amazing and I had missed it so much! To let the boys have some fun too, we took them sledding right around the corner from Nana and Papa's house. Evan had a blast going again and again! Carson even tried it and liked it. Here are my boys getting ready to go...

"That was FUN Daddy!"

Mommy with Carson...

Mommy and her boys...

We were amazed that Evan had no fear and went all by himself! Here are a few pics of one of his rides...

He would go down and say, "I do it again?" He even went down backwards and on his tummy...

Evan with Nana...

Mommy did it too...

He even carried the sled back up all by himself...

We built a snowman and Evan still talks about him every day. He says, "Member...we made a Nowman!" (he doesn't say the "S" for some reason) Here are Evan and Carson with the "Nowman"...

Too cute!

We are so excited because we are going back to Nana and Papa's house in two weeks to go snowboarding and sledding again! We can't wait!

Bath Time!

Now when I tell Evan to smile and say cheese for the camera, this is the face I get. What a handsome little fellow! Haha!

My White Birthday Present!

This year I woke up to SNOW on my birthday! It was fun to have the first snow of the year come on my special day. I can't believe I'm 28...I feel so old! Haha! I got a few shots of Evan enjoying the snow in our front yard...

"This snow is SOOOO cool!!"

Happy New Year!

I can't believe it's 2011! Time is flying by. We celebrated with our annual New Year's Eve party at our house with a few of our friends. We had a potluck of appetizers and desserts followed by games all night. The newlywed game first, then we played Texas Hold 'Em until 4am! We had a blast! Evan actually made it and stayed awake all the way to midnight but crashed right after. We set up a movie station in Evan's room for all the kids (there were 11 kids total...crazy!!). Evan's room was a DISASTER by the end of the night, but the kids had a great time. Here's Evan checking out a movie while waiting for the kids to arrive...

Carson went to bed at 8pm...maybe he'll make it next year! :)

Christmas 2010!

Evan was SO excited this year for Christmas and it made it SO much more fun for us as parents! All he would say the whole month of December was "Santa's gonna bring me presents...in my stocking...and under the tree!" He was so excited when Christmas morning finally arrived. Unfortunately, he was sick with a fever/cough/cold on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but that didn't affect his excitement. Here he is opening his stocking...

Carson was excited too! :)

Best Buds checking out their stuff...

Carson got a jumper/activity center that he LOVES! He'll sit in it and jump up and down for hours!

Evan got just what he asked Santa for...a Choo-Choo Train!!!

Evan was spoiled rotten with toys this year. Some of them included a Zhu-Zhu pet (he was dying for one!), Legos, a Toy Story memory game, trucks, cars, Toy Story figures, aquadoodle, and many more. He also got some new Spongebob slippers that he doesn't really like to wear for some reason...haha!

And Carson LOVED his spinning animal zoo!

Later that day, Mommy and Daddy posing by the Christmas tree...

And of course the boys with their favorite Aunt Jill...

8 Months!

Carson turned 8 months on December 23rd. At 8 months he:

  • sleeps from 8pm to 9am...13 hours...I'm in heaven!!!
  • is starting to army crawl/scoot to the things he wants
  • drinks formula! No more nursing for mommy!
  • hates veggies but loves all fruits with rice cereal
  • is the happiest baby ever...he'll just lay on the floor content for hours!
  • still LOVES his big brother Evan

Carson was 7 1/2 months in this picture with Evan...I just thought it was a cute one of them that I had to post!

Merry Christmas 2010!!!

This was the winner for our Christmas Card this year...

We took these pictures on Thanksgiving day...Carson was 7 months old and Evan was 2 years 2 months. Thanks to my dad for being our wonderful photographer! Here are a few more cute shots that we got...

Santa came to our ward party this year and neither of the boys cried! We got these cute pictures of them on Santa's lap...
