Beach Camping!

We went camping at the beach with my family for 5 nights! The campsite is called El Moro Campground and it's between Corona Del Mar and Laguna Beach. We camped in a tent and the view from the campsite was gorgeous! Every spot had a view of the beach. The beach was beautiful and the water was amazingly clear...it almost looked like Hawaii water!

Evan burying himself in the sand...

The beach was beautiful!

The boys loved playing and digging big holes with Aunt Jill...she's so fun!

Whoah!! Here comes the water!!!

Who wants a big sandy hug???

Thanks for the really cool hole, Aunt Jill!!

Taking a break for some lunch...

Wow. Can we say Mister Sandman??? YUCK!

Silly boy!

One of the highlights of the trip...eating at The Crab Cooker! Or in Evan's words, The Sandcrab Cooker! Check out those shrimp and scallops...YUM!!!

Goofing around in Ross...Nice shoes, Evan!

We took a break from the beach one day and walked around Fashion Island in Newport Beach...

Carson chowing down on a banana...one of his favorite fruits!

We love the beach and can't wait to go back! Bonfire soon for sure!!

Vacation in Utah

We had such a fun time on our vacation in Utah and went on so many adventures! Nana and Papa planned a packed schedule full of nature hikes, an awesome aquatic center, 2 great plays, and of course Nana's delicious home-cooked meals! On the first day, we hiked to this amazing waterfall that was in the canyon right down the street from their house! It felt like we were in a waterfall in Fiji! Carson missed out because he was taking a nap with Papa...

Carson having fun in the creek...

We packed lunches and ate right next to the waterfall and creek. Carson was all smiles eating his PB&J...

Another awesome waterfall!

Daddy and Evan swimming in the creek...

We got to see The Little Mermaid at the Tuacahn theater and it was an AMAZING show!

Nana and Papa gave the adults a special treat...they had a grandkids night while we all went to see Grease!! We had so much fun singing along to all the songs!

Posing with the "Malt shop in the sky" guy. He was loving all of us hanging all over him. He even told us to "facebook him" and that we HAD to tag him in this picture. Too funny!

This was our crush...Kenickie! He played Tarzan in last year's play and we fell in love then. He got like super close to my face and I couldn't even think straight when he asked me where we were from. Yeah, Sean was a little jealous! Haha!

The boys posing with the lovely Sandy...

The whole gang with Danny and Sandy...

We went on another hike to Cascade Falls in Zion National Park...

We made it to the top!

What a gorgeous view! Check out that thundercloud behind us....It actually came right to us and started pouring rain while we raced back to the cars. Luckily, we didn't get too wet!

We went to this super cool aquatic center in Cedar City! The kids (and adults) had a blast!

Getting ready to go down the dark tube slide! It was so fun...we did it like 10 times!

Carson was pooped after all the fun and took a nice nap all bundled up on a lounge chair...

We also went on another hike in Kanarraville that was so beautiful! It was a hard trek with little kids, but we made it! Here is Evan hiking with Nana...

Carson and Daddy taking a break...

Having so much fun with some rocks...

We hiked through huge slot canyons and we came to this! It was gorgeous!

The huge rocks towering above us! The picture doesn't do it any justice...

Lucky Carson! This is how we all felt at the end of the hike...Exhausted!!!

Thanks Nana and Papa for all the adventures!

Fourth of July!

This year for the 4th we watched fireworks in Yorba Linda. It was a great show and the boys loved it! I was sure Carson would get scared and cry this year, but he actually liked the fireworks. He kinda snuggled with me more than usual (which was nice), but didn't cry. Here are the boys with their favorite Aunt Jill...what little studs they are!

My cousin Rachel and her husband Nate were there too...

The boys LOVE popcorn...couldn't get enough of it!

And, of course, made a mess! They didn't care, it was easier to eat that way!

Being silly after the show...
