After they weighed and measured him, they pricked his finger to see if he was anemic. Luckily his blood came back normal. He didn't even cry when they pricked him! He just looked surprised and was very interested in the band-aid that the nurse put on him.
"Hmmm...what's this? I wonder if it tastes good..."
"Yup! It does!"
Then the doctor came in to check him out. Evan was checking him out too!
Evan was very good at following instructions! He opened REALLY wide!!!
While we waited for the shots, Evan kept himself busy...
He sure does love that paper!
Uh-Oh! Here he is getting his shots...Poor guy!
Awww...what a sad face! He was pretty tough and didn't cry for too long!
At 9 months, Evan:
- loves to crawl all around the house
- pulls himself to stand all the time...he thinks he's such a big boy!
- sleeps 11 hours straight at night and takes a couple naps a day...Hallelujah!!!
- likes to eat what we eat
- is losing interest in the bottle very quickly...we're lucky if we can get him to drink 18 oz a day!
- loves when we brush his teeth!
- is learning how to wave
- says "Uh-Oh" when he drops something (Well...it's more like "Uh-Uh")
- will still go to anyone who wants to hold him...no separation anxiety yet, but I'm sure it's coming soon!
- is still addicted to his TV shows on Noggin
- thinks the word "No" is funny...we definitely need to work on this one!
We went to tent camping at Lake Mojave this last weekend and had a blast! We got Evan this turtle raft and he LOVED it! Can't wait to go back to the lake!

He is so stickin cute! Ava didn't have to get shots this last time. The pictures at the doctors is so cute. Where did you find that raft at?
Man, you guys have been up to all kinds of fun! I love the cute raft, especially the canopy. Glad that Evan is doing so well. He is such a cute kid. Seriously. I also loved Sean's first Father's Day tie. I will have to suggest that for Father's Day next year.

Hey! Very cute...ya i thought we'd be lucky and skip over the whole seperation anxiety thing...but then it hit when Mavrik wuz about 13 months-but he actually isnt that bad, only when he gets tired. Glad to c all is well! I'll update my blog eventually. ttul
