Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny came to Grandma and Grandpa's house this year!!  Evan and Carson loved finding all the eggs filled with candy.  The Easter Bunny spoiled them with some fun toys too!  Here they are on the hunt...

"I got one, Mom!!"

"Is there something in that plant?"

I think Carson spots something...

Yep!  Right there!

Here are the aunts and cousins (plus our friend Kayla)...

Decorating the Easter Eggs!

The boys had so much fun decorating Easter eggs this year! Carson was extra excited...he was going crazy trying to grab the eggs and the cups with dye in them. It was stressful trying to make sure nothing spilled!! Daddy did a little photo shoot with the boys while Mommy was getting the dyes ready...

Being silly...

Nana and Papa were in town for Easter so Nana got to help with the eggs too...

Coloring eggs in action...

Our Easter family picture...

Waiting and waiting...

All done!

Check out my egg!

Earlier that morning, we went to a 5k Fun Run for Julie Reichmann who has pancreatic cancer. Sean ran it and I pushed the kids in the stroller. It was great to be there and support her. She and her family are in our prayers!

(This picture looks like I chopped all my hair off but I didn't...the rest is behind my back!)

We Love Our Friends!

I love taking pictures of the boys with their friends because it will be so much fun looking back on all the kids once they've grown up! We always hang out with my good friends Meagan and Stefanie and their kids. Above is Evan and Carson with Meagan's little girls Kennedy and Avery.

Here is the whole gang! From left to right: Kennedy, Avery, Avenlie, Evan, Carson, and Landon.

All the kids were actually watching the movie! Too cute!

The Next Kobe Bryant???

We signed Evan up for Pee Wee Basketball this year and it was so fun to watch him "try" to play! His games were every Saturday with a 30 minute practice first followed by a 20 minute game. It was so cute to see the little kids run around and try to make shots. The hoop was 6 feet high which was really high for most of the kids, especially Evan who was almost the shortest kid on the team! It was cute because the coaches would lift up the short kids, who couldn't make a basket, and would help them make a shot. Evan really liked the help and would ask for it every time he got the ball! We thought his individual picture was just adorable! Here is the team picture...

Here is Evan in the huddle, getting the next play...

Evan getting ready to drive down the court for a slam dunk...

The kids probably had more fun doing this on the bench than actually playing the game!

Our basketball star sporting his sweet Nike's...

Maybe next year Evan will be tall enough to make a basket on his own! We love our little baller!
